I colored this picture for practice and BoTT was kind enough to let me post it. The coloring techique is experimental, at least for me, but I like it. It's far from perfect, of course, but I think I'm on to something. I'll try to refine in later pictures.

I've been in a really bad art rut lately. Nothing I draw comes out right! Ahh! It'll probably pass in the week or two. It's just fustrating when it happens.

Oh wow hun, lovely work! I love that you chose the soft sunlit yellow to shade her instead of her usual pale blue shading! It really showes thats she's in the sun and flying about!

I glad you like it! Choosing a color to shade Celeste was a challenge because she's completely white. Blue, grey, and pale yellow were all considered. Yellow has warmer feel to it, so I went with that. If I'd set the picture at night, I probably would've gone with blue.

Thanks! The clouds were easy to do and I like how they came out. I'm going to continue playing around with this coloring style and develop it further.
